AUCKLAND. ! Regal Ruler, a gelding from Paeroa, led from end-to-end lin the Rawson Memorial, the first leg of the T.A.B. double at Avondale on Saturday. The second leg of the double, the President’s Handicap, went tn the Auckland three-year-old, Markable. The dividend for £1 was £64 3s 6d. The weather was fine and the track dead.
