SKIING AWARD
(N Z Press Association) DUNEDIN, July 4. South Island recipients of the McKenzie ski-ing scholarship (in order of selection) are:—R. Poulston (Tasman Ski Club), S. Donald and Miss R. Willis (Canterbury Winter Sports Club), V. Oddie (Tasman Ski Club), A. Knowles and W. Grey (Wakatipu Ski Club).
The scholarship, established by Mr R. McKenzie, is awarded annually to the best six potential racing skiers in each island of New Zealand.
The skiers will be trained at Coronet Peak during the second week of the August school holidays.
