Minor Fires
A small fire in the woodwork around a fireplace in the Albion Hotel, Lyttelton, was attended by units from the Lyttelton and Woolston stations at 11.12 a.m. on Saturday. Units <from the St. Albans and Central station went to the service station of Albert Jaekson, Main North road. Belfast, when a bucket of kerosene caught fire about 1.15 p.m. on Saturday. A chimney fire at the home of Patrick Dugan, 84 Withells road, was attended by a unit from the Sockburn station at 3.41 p.m. on Saturday. A fire in the front seat of a car belonging to Gary King, of 75 Canterbury street, Lyttelton, was extinguished by two units from the Lyttelton station at 10.40 p.m. on Saturday. An oven fire at the home of Leslie Sherwood, 13 Basingstoke street, was attended by units from the New Brighton and Central station at 9.57 a.m. yesterday.
