The Christchurch Boys’ High School board agreed that there wa» no point in enlarging the present assembly hall as it would still be inadequate for future needs. The board will look at other alternatives.
Dr. T. R. Anderson suggested building a new large assembly hall on the Lancaster reserve. The present hall could then become a library, the library could become a staff room, and the staff room could be used as two classrooms as it had been previously.
