Child Of Four Hurt
(N.Z. Press Association) LEVIN, June 20. A child of four was in Palmerston North Hospital “in a fairly serious condition” as the result of injuries, Senior Sergeant C. J. Smillie told Mr L. Moffatt, J.P., in Levin today. A man was charged with assaulting the child. He is John Lynn, aged 25. a dairy factory worker, of Shannon. He was charged that he assaulted Helen Koi Remuera, a child under 14, on June 19 at Levin.
Lynn was remanded in custody till July 1.
