Photographic equipment, ; worth £2OO. was stolen from a car outside the New Zea- ; land Broadcasting Corporation i premises in Gloucester street |at the week-end. i An unsuccessful attempt | was made to break open a : safe in the office of L. S. Lay- | cock and Company, Ltd., panel (beaters, Durham street. Tools ! were used on the safe lock ! and handle. About 2s was i stolen from an office desk, and a small sum stolen from i the premises of Colour Services, Ltd., nearby. Cash amounting to £lO was stolen from a house in Nursery road, and the same amount from another house in Cambridge terrace.
