Civil Defence ‘Red Tape’
fN.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 4. The Auckland Regional Authority's civil defence committee, tired of time-wasting “red tape” is to seek ministerial action in putting the region’s defence scheme on its feet. The committee will ask the Minister of Civil Defence (Mr Seath) to send the Director of Civil Defence (Brigadier R. C. Queree) to Auckland to discuss emergency precautions. Mr Seath will also be reminded of the committee’s request for Government aid.
