Better Liaison Wanted
(N.Z. Preus Association) WELLLINGTON, June 4. A recommendation that a full-time liaison officer should be appointed by both the Technician’s Certification Authority and the Trades Certification Board to counsel both employers and potential employees was submitted today to the Commission on Vocational Training. Making the recommendation. the Association of Teachers in Technical Institutes said it considered the present counselling Was not well informed. It felt that greater emphasis on industrial experience should be made in appointing careers advisers and vocational training officers.
