Papua Service To End (Special Crspdt. N.Z PA.) PORT MORESBY. June 3. The Administrator of [Papua-New Guinea (Sir Donald Cleland) said today he had called for a report from the Australian Department of! Trade and Industry on the! likely effect of the Crusader Shipping Company’s decision to end its service between New Zealand and Papua-New Guinea. The company has announced its service will end with the trip of the Knight Templar, due at Port Moresby on June 19. Papua-New Guinea will then be without a direct shipping service from New Zealand. Crusader ships have carried large quantities of New Zealand lamb and mutton and smaller quantities of general cargo to Papua-New Guinea.
