MELBOURNE Industrials held a firm tone on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday. Moves were small but rises were well in the majority. Colonial Sugar gained 2s to 665. In base metals, Mount Isa high lighted with a jump of Is 6d to 38s 6d before closing at 37s lid. These shares have risen strongly since the report that the mine is approaching normal production. Other base metals and oils were quiet and most barely held levels. Renison lost Is to 635. Sales.—A.W.A., 26s 6d; Ampol, 10s 3d and def., 8s 3d: Ansett, 7s sd; A.R.C. Inds., 10s 8d; Assoc.
