BUILDING PLANS

Mt. Pleasant School (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 4. Additional accommodation would be built at Mount Pleasant School, the member for Lyttelton (Mr Kirk) was told today by the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella). “Four new classrooms, administration rooms and a dental clinic are to be built on a new site near the old school,” said Mr Kinsella. “At at later date, two classrooms from the original site will be moved to the new area so that the old site can be completely cleared of buildings. These moves will give the school adequate buildings and recreation areas.”

The new buildings have been planned by the Canterbury Education Board which has been authorised to accept a tender for the work.
