IMPRESSIVE RECORD
One of the youngest teams in the Canterbury Rugby League schoolboys grades, the Halswell under eight team, has built an impressive record this season. In its five matches the team has scored 87 points and has yet to concede any to its rivals.
The team has among its members the youngest Rugby League player in Christchurch, five-year-old Anthony Baughan. Most of its 29 tries have been scored by Tommy Lightfoot (16) and David Baxter (11). Trevor Abrahams and Robert Meyerhoft have scored the others.
