Fog Closes Airport
The Air New Zealand Electra which should have landed at Christchurch at 8.48 p.m. yesterday was, because of fog which closed the airport, diverted to Wellington. It will arrive today at 10.45 a.m. and leave for Sydney at 11.30 a.m. There were 59 persons on board. A similar number were booked to depart on the aircraft for Sydney last night. Forty-eight of them had to be accommodated in city hotels overnight.
