A state of emergency was declared today in two remote areas of Rhodesia.
It will be in force for three months, an official announcement said.
The areas are part of the Lupane district, northeast of Bulawayo, and part of the Nuanetsi district in the low veld.
The Nuanetsi area includes the restriction centre where the Nationalist leader Joshua Nkotno and hundreds of Africans are held.
