(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright)
MONTREAL, May 24.
A terrorist bomb exploded in the centre of Montreal early today blowing off the front facade of an insurance company building.
A short time later a second bomb was discovered at a Montreal Army barracks. Authorities believe the bombs may herald a new round of French-Canadian separatist activities. No-one was injured' in the blast at the Prudential Insurance Company building. The bomb went off shortly after 1 a.m. Windows in many nearby buildings were shattered.
The second bomb was discovered at the armoury of the Fusiliers des Montreals. The Montreal bomb squad used special equipment to defuse the bomb.
