MATERNITY CARDS
A maternity patient’s record card, for the guidance of any medical practitioner or midwife unfamiliar with the patient and who has to attend her in an emergency, had been produced by the Health Department on the recommendation of the maternity services advisory committee of the Board of Health. The district offices of the department will supply the card to doctors on request. The -card records the name, address, and telephone num* i her of the patient’s doctor; the patient’s medical history in so far as it affects pregnancy; the patient’s blood group, drug sensitivities if any; and other medical detai^: Previous pregnancies; and where booked for confinement.
