(N Z P A -Reuter—Copyright) PHNOMPENH (Cambodia), May 7.
Cambodia would be able to renew diplomatic relations with the United States if the Americans ended “bloody frontier aggression” and showed Cambodia a little respect the Cambodian Foreign Minister (Mr Koun Wick) said in a letter published in Phnompenh today. The letter was addressed to the U.S. Secretary of State (Mr Dean Rusk).
It was dated May s—two days after Cambodia decided to break diplomatic relations with the United States. The Cambodian Head of State (Prince Norodom Sihanouk) had said at the time that consular relations with the United States were being maintained temporarily.
