"Our children have eyes, but they are still blind" So wrote some Sherpas from the village of Thami to the Respected Bara Sahib, Sir Edmund Hillary, who, with American help, was able to answer their plea. Here now is the wonderful story of the Himalayan Schoolhouse Expedition. Schoolhouse in the Clouds by SIR EDMUND HILLARY Sir Edmund’s picture of Sherpa life is full, colourful and compassionate. Through Lady Hillary’s own diary, we see the charm of Sherpa children, the business of everyday, and a world filled with laughter. Then there are exciting accounts of the expedition’s assaults on two great peaks Taweche and Katanga. BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED IN FULL COLOUR. 111 CASHEL STREET ’PHONE 69-059
