Dangerous Drug Mislaid
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 30. A box containing 50 vials of a dangerous drug has gone missing after being consigned to Blenheim Hospital. The drug, hydrocortosone sodium succinate, could prove lethal to children. The police are worried because the vials’ dumb-bell shape could make them attractive to children as playthings. The drug was sent by air to the hospital by the Wellington drug firm of Upjohn Proprietary, Ltd., on April 20. The box was marked ‘poison, glass, with care.”
