Friendship Hit By Lightning
(N.Z. Press Association) . INVERCARGILL, April 30. An N.A.C. Friendship, the Kopara, was struck by lightning as it came in to land at Invercargill airport shortly after 7.30 a.m. today. No damage was done but the aircraft was held up for more than two hours While engineers checked it.
