Tasty, economical MACARONI MEAT LOAF needs only 2oz of ham or bacon. 6oz Diamond Macaroni Elbows, loz butter, 2 level tablespoons flour, 1 small cup milk, 2oz ham or cooked bacon, I egg, salt and pinch cayenne pepper, I cup tomato sauce. Cook Macaroni according to directions. Line a buttered basin with macaroni, working from centre. Heat butter in saucepan. Stir in flour, add milk and stir until mixture thickens. Add diced meat, beaten egg, salt, cayenne, tomato sauce. Pour into macaroni-lined basin, cover with rest of macaroni. Place buttered paper over top, steam for 1 hour.
