Crane-Jib Fell
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 29. Three men escaped serious injury this afternoon when an 80ft crane-jib toppled into the foundation of the new Y.W.C.A. in Moray place, Dunedin. The crane driver, Ray Clark, escaped being crushed when the machine overturned and two workmates in the 10ft foundation managed to avoid the falling jib. Mr Clark was taken to the Dunedin Hospital with a suspected fractured chest bone but was later discharged.
