(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, April 28. An inmate of the Invercargill Borstal, Peter Robert McPherson, aged 20, was convicted and discharged after pleading guilty today to a charge of burglary. McPherson admitted breaking into a snack bar in Durham street, Christchurch. Sergeant D. K. White told the Court that cigarettes and food valued at more than £25 had been stolen. McPherson had admitted the offence after being sentenced to borstal training.
