Count Alberic O’Kelly de Galway, a 54-year-old Belgian grand master, yesterday was a clear leader after seven rounds in the international chess congress at Bognor. He has six points from seven games. Challenging him at this stage is the 17-year-old English schoolboy, William Hartston, of Enfield, Middlesex, who has five-and-a-half points. With five points are R. A. Doney (England), .0. Hindle (England), R. G. Wade (New Zealand) and Raymond Keene, a 17-year-old London schoolboy.
