£l0,000 FOR FEDERATION
Post-graduate Medicine (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 1. The Wolfson Foundation in Britain has sent the New Zealand Post-graduate Medical Federation a grant of £lO,OOO.
A federation official, who announced the gift today, said it would allow the federation to bring more overseas postgraduate visitors to lecture and work in New Zealand centres, and permit New Zealand to play a more major role in providing post-gradu-ate facilities for medical graduates from the South Pacific and South-east Asia.
The Wolfson Foundation, set up by Sir Isaac Wolfson and his family, has in recent years made substantial grants towards many important medical developments in Britain.
