Arts Festival Broadcasts
A recording of this afternoon’s organ recital by C. Foster Browne in Christchurch Cathedral will be broadcast from 3YC this evening at 6.15. The .recital in the Cathedral by the University of Canterbury Madrigal Singers under Brian Barrett on Thursday afternoon, will also be recorded, and this will be broadcast from 3YC at 6.15 p.m. This week’s festival television broadcasts include a review from Channel 3 at 9.28 on Wednesday with items about the University of Denver Jazz Band, an interview with Shoji Hamada and his son, and an item of “Porgy and Bess.” On Sunday at 8.57, the review will cover the exhibitions and the vintage car rally, and include an interview with the Berkshire String Quartet
