N.C. Tennis Competition
Because of the representative matches which were played between North Canterbury and Hurunul as part of the Browning Shield series, no matches were played in the North Canterbury Tennis Sub-association's senior A grade on Saturday. Results of other grades were: Senior B.—Rangiora beat Ashley, 11-5; Woodend beat Fernside, 12-4: Southbrook B beat Swannanoa. 14-1; Cust beat Amberley. 13-3. Intermediate.—Loburn beat Kaiapoi, 11-5; Carleton beat West Eyreton. 12-4. Junior.—Woodend beat Cust, 15-1; Balcairn beat Rangiora B, 14-2: Oxford beat Ohoka, 15-1.
