Wright Hits Century
A chanceless 111 by A. F. Wright ensured Malvern of victory in its match against Banks Peninsula for the Sub-Associa-tions’ Shield. Coming in when the score was 55 for three, Wright immediately took charge of the bowling. It was his third consecutive century in Malvern cricket. G. T. Wright also batted well in scoring 89, and with A. F. Wright put on 180 for the fourth wicket. Scores: —
