Miners Hurt

(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Feb. 17. Albert Edward Stuart, of 8 Carroll street, Runanga, suffered lacerations when he was caught in a fall of stone in the United Corporated Party mine at Ten-Mile on Monday. The 61-year-old miner was admitted to the Greymouth Hospital after the accident, which happened about 1 p.m. The hospital reported his condition as satisfactory. A 34-year-old Strongman coalminer, Joseph de Goldi, of 169 Preston road, Blaketown, was admitted to the Greymouth Hospital on Monday with back injuries. It is believed he suffered the injuries in a fall at the mine. Hospital authorities reported his condition as satisfactory.
