At a recent social evening held by the Cambrian Society of Canterbury, Mrs Myra Thomson, chairman of the society, in the absence of the president (Mr G. Manning), welcomed the organist for the St. David's Day Cathedral ser vice (Mr Victor Ellena). The evening was mainly a choir practice for St. David's Day service, but at the conclusion of this Miss Gwynneth Roger* showed a serie* of film* of her travels, both overseas and in New Zealand. Mrs T. Anderson, member from Ashburton, and Mr R. Jones, of Oxford, were welcomed.
