MELBOURNE, Jan. 4.
The Victorian yacht Stratus sailed by I. Twentyman, took the lead in the inter-Dominion Flying Dutchman championship today. Stratus won the second heat of the title to take a lead of 477 points. It won by 29 seconds from Whittier (C. Craig, N.S.W.) with Eileen (J. Hardy, N.S.W.) third, and Pandora (H. Pedersen, New Zealand) fourth. Pandora was fifth on the first two rounds but picked up a placing on the final beat. Takapuna (G. Smale, N.Z.) finished seventh, and Leda (L. Davidson, N.Z.) was eleventh.
