Scooter Rider Injured
Mr N. W. Burnett, of 635 Worcester street, suffered a cut on the left leg when his motor-scooter and a car collided at the corner of Gloucester street and Woodham road about 6.15 p.m. yesterday. Mr Burnett was treated at the Christchurch Hospital.
One car was overturned and came to rest on its roof when two cars collided at the corner of Burwood road and Mairehau road about 10 a.m. Both cars were extensively damaged, but nobody was injured.
