PUBLIC NOTICES LICENSING CONTROL COMMISSION OF NEW ZEALAND (Sale of Liquor Act, 1962) SECOND AND FINAL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FOR A NEW TOUR-IST-HOUSE PREMISES LICENCE AT CHRISTCHURCH. Notice Is hereby given that in terms of section 86 of the Sale of Liqour Act, 1962. the Commission invites and will consider applications for a new tourist-house premises licence proposed to be authorised within a radius of one mile from the junction near the Christchurch Internationa! Airport of Memorial avenue and Orchard road. The site and the design and construction of the premises shall allow for future expansion. The accommodation to be provided (exclusive of accommodation for the tourist-house keeper or manager, family and staff) shall be for not fewer than ISO guests. The accommodation, services, and other facilities to be provided are to comply with the minimum standards fixed by the Commission in respect of the proposed premises. A copy of these minimum standards may be obtained on request frorii the undersigned. Each application shall be lodged with the Secretary of the Licensing Control Commission, Wellington, within 60 days after the second and final publication of this notice. Each application shall be made by the person who will be the owner of the premises if a licence is granted, or by some person acting on his behalf and in his name. If any other person will have, or is likely to have, any estate or interest (otherwise than by way of mortgage, debenture, or charge) in the premises, that fact and the names of all persons having or likely to have any such estate or interest, and the nature of every such estate or interest, shall be set out in the application or otherwise disclosed to the Commission. Each application shall be in duplicate, and shall be accompanied by a statement in writing specifying particulars of the site and of the premises or proposed premises in respect of which the application is made, together with detailed scale plans of the site and the whole of the premises or proposed premises. This is the second and final publication of this notice.

W COUNTY OF WAIPARA FIRE RESTRICTIONS PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Sections 20 and 21 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1955, that the lighting of fires in the open air within the County of Waipara is PROHIBITED from December 30, 1964, until further notice. This prohibition includes fires in any outdoor incinerator or container. While this prohibition is in force it is an offence to light or cause to be lighted any fire in the open air without the written permission of a County Fire Officer.
