Homestead Razed
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, Dec. 28. Fire destroyed the twostorey 12-roomed wooden homestead on “Sunworth” station at Upper Ngatapa, 18 miles from Gisborne, on Sunday night. The fire broke out in a semi-detached building. By the time the Patutahi brigade arrived at 10 p.m., flames had swept through the upper part of the building. Only a few pieces of furniture were saved.
The homestead was occupied by Mr S. Cave.
