Fell From Ship’s Gangway
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 27. A ship’s engineer is in Wellington Hospital with a fractured skull received in a fall from the gangway of the Chatwood to King’s Wharf late on Thursday. He is Mr A. Dumphie, the ship’s junior engineer. He fell about 25ft. His condition is reported to be “only fair.”
