She learned Diane had received five proposals of marriage in less than a week. Now Dorothy (motto: “if at first you don’t succeed try another continent”) wants to see if she can get just one proposal. Her ideal husband: “A good-looking hard worker who won’t put everything on the instalment plan.” She would not say when she plans to leave for Australia.
