New SecretaryManager “The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND, December 25. Mr C. R. Williamson has been appointed secretarymanager of the Auckland Returned Services’ Association to succeed Mr G. E. Olsson, who has taken a position nearer his home. Mr Williamson served in both world wars, in the Royal Air Force and the Royal New Zealand Air Force, serving as adjutant at Wigram for some time.
He has had experience in banking and general accountancy and the hotel trade. He once held the licence of Warners Hotel and for more than eight years was manager of Bellamys, and officer in charge, Parliament Buildings. He is now in his fifth year on the staff of the Auckland R.S.A. and hopes to remain until the extensive five-year main building maintenance and renovations programme is completed.
