Young Enterprise
A young Toronto boy recently posted a model of a Rolls Royce car to the Rolls Royce Company in England, saying the model was scratched, and should be covered bv the company’s guarantee. The firm’s public relations office (Mr D. E. A. Miller-Williams) sent the boy a replacement model, which he obtained from a toy shop. Now, reports “Rolls Royce News”, the company’s newspaper, an enterprising Mississippi nine-year-old who heard of this has written to the “Dear Rolls Royce Company”, asking for the scale model with the scratch on it. It has been sent to him, with a letter pointing out it is now second-hand and not covered by guarantee. The company does not manufacture the models.
