Jellie Park
Sir, —In perusing your recent report on the opening of Jellie Park, I could find no reference to Mr J. Jellie and his most generous gift of this land to the citizens of Christchurch. I feel, probably along with many others, that something should have been mentioned, even if only to remind the younger people of one of your city’s benefactors.—Yours, etc, DISAPPONTED. December 23, 1964.
