Te Parae, the Agricola —Excellency filly bought for 41tKlgns at the national sales last January, is making a big impression in South Australia. She easily won a fivefurlong handicap race at
Adelaide on December 12 and her time of 57 9-10 seconds was just outside the Australian and New Zealand record. Te Parae’s dam was unbeaten in five starts at two years and, later, won many valuable races, including the New Zealand Cup. Excellency and Te Parae were bred by Mr W. T. Oliver, of Winton.
