Change In Rhodesia

SALISBURY, Dec. 22.
The Rhodesian Broadcasting Corporation will cease to use the British Broadcasting Corporation’s general overseas news bulletin from London at 6 a.m. in its news service from January 1. it was officially announced in Rhodesia today. It will continue to broadcast the 8.8. C. overseas news bulletin at 11 a.m. and at 4 p.m. each day, excluding Sundays.
The announcement was made today by Mr John Pnyry, Director-General of the Rhodesian Broadcasting Corporation, who said that the decision had “no political overtones.”
The 8.8. C. morning news bulletin is to be replaced by the South African Broadcasting Corporation news service relayed by Radio South Africa.
