SCOW TOWED TO PORT

AUCKLAND, December 21. The Whangarei scow Ethel Wells, which was stranded on the Whangapoua bar, on the Coromandel peninsula, on Friday, was towed into Auckland at 9 o’clock tonight by the tug Waiomana. She will be hauled out on the slipway tomorrow morning.
