Rain washed out play for much of the third day in the Haw! e Cup match between Nelson and Wanganui at Nelson today but the home team retained the trophy on a first innings decision. Wanganui made 200 in reply to Nelson’s first innings of 552 and then following on lost four wickets for 50 runs before play was abandoned at the afternoon tea adjournment.
