Week-end Burglaries
Cigarettes nad chocolate, worth £64, were stolen from a fruit shop at 133 A Clyde road at the week-end. The sum of £32 10s and a wallet valued at £1 10s were stolen from a house in Springs road which was entered through an unfastened window at the rear.
The premises of D. A. Lewis and Company, Ltd., were entered and £7 5s stolen. The Mayfair TV and Home Appliances’ premises, 171 Victoria street, were broken into and a radio and electric shaver, worth £3O 15s, stolen. A clock and £2 were stolen from the office of Joinery Manufacturers (Christchurch) Ltd., 114 Canon street.
