(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter)

VANCOUVER, British Columbia.

About 200 Vancouver actors are helping 35,000 blind persons across Canada to enjoy books which they cannot read themselves.

The Vancouver Recordings for the Blind Society, a volunteer group formed last January, has recorded tapereadings of about 25 books and is aiming at an output of about 60 books a year. The tapes are supplied to blind subscribers through the Canadian National Institute for the Blind in Toronto.
