SATELLITE LAUNCHING
First Built In W. Europe (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—-Copyright) WASHINGTON, Dec. 8. The first space satellite wholly designed and built in Western Europe was expected to be launched this week, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A.) announced in Washington today. An Italian San Marco satellite, designed to measure conditions over the Equator, would be blasted into orbit from Wallops Island, Virginia, some time from next Friday, N.A.S.A. said.
