AGRICULTURAL CONFERENCE
N.Z. Translators Praised
(N.Z. Press Association)
ROTORUA, Nov. 27
The New Zealand translators employed for the International Federation of Agricultural Producers’ world conference in Rotorua were “doing a magnificent job," said Mr R. F. Savary, secretarygeneral of I.F.A.P. today. The team of about six employed for translating written reports into French and English were from the universities and were not professional, he said. “They have thrown themselves into the thing wholeheartedly,” he said. "We have had this sort of help before at our other conferences and it has always been entirely unsatisfactory. But not this time.”
