LONDON, Nov. 27.

The Sitmar shipping line, one of the leading carriers in the Australian emigrant trade, will try experimental low-cost voyages on the Transatlantic run next year. “The Times” reported today. The 12,000-ton liner, Castel Felice, will make four round voyages between Southampton and New York next summer.

If the experiment is a success, the line intends to buy more ships and operate regularly in the Atlantic trade, an official said.

Although trade was booming in the Southampton-Aus-tralia run. the line wished to widen its interests. The Castel Felice is a oneclass ship carrying 1300 passengers.

After the fourth Transatlantic voyage, planned for next September, she will return to the Australian run. Fares for the Transatlantic trip will be from £46 single for a berth in a six-berth cabin.
