Royal Filou Likely Dargaville Favourite

AUCKLAND, Nov. 19. The Te Awamutu gelding. Royal Filou, which went an excellent race for second to Calm Comet ever 11 furlongs at Te Rapa a couple of weeks ago, looks a readymade favourite for the Cockerton Memorial at Dargaville tomorrow. Ravenwood, Honourable and Blue Heather, all from Takanini stables, look likely to be Royal Filou's hardest opponents.

The Cockerton Memorial Is the first leg ot the double. The second leg is the Jack Clune Handicap, in which Derby Dick and Court Beau are bound to be prominent. The weather has been fine I and the track will be fast.
