Woman Driver Needed Aid
(N.Z. ri-eif Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, November 18. The elderly woman driver of a new sports car stopped an Automobile Association patrolman near Newark, Nottinghamshire, and complained that the engine was running badly, the “Daily Sketch” reported. But the patrolman, Barry Neale, could find nothing wrong with the car. Then he saw that the driver wore a hearing aid. He examined it and tightened, a loose connexion in the ear piece. “That’s better,” said the woman. “The engine’s running perfectly now.” .
